You can be proud of the Skyline and Camry well I think you get the picture.
I personally would never debadge/rebadge my Infiniti to Skyline but I have no problem if somebody else feels like it.

^It's not the de-badge to skyline that bugs me, it's the re-badge to Nissan.
And without the GT-R, I don't believe that the history is all that different. As a matter of fact, when I am in Japan I see more sedan, "family" skylines than I see tear-your-*****-off GT-Rs. Furthermore, there are Camrys in Japan just as nice ES300s here in America because until recently Japan didn't have Lexus like they don't have Infiniti. They had the car, it was just badged differently.
