I just picked up my 03' DP G35 tonight. It's my first manual and I did fine driving it around...i've still got to get used to it, esp. reverse..for some reason I have a hard time w/ reversing. haha Um, i've got a quick question though...well two...

1-when parking (on both, incline and flat) which gear is best to leave in? Probably doesn't matter right? I've left it in Reverse once already and it seemed fine...

2-it's got a lot of compartments and stuff, but no a lot of space for anything that means somethign (gps, ipod, etc)..WHERE have you guys posted your Ipods/GPS's ?? I couldnt' stick my "mount" anywhere...the dash isn't very flat...any suggestions!? Don't flame me and tell me to search, cause these are simple answers i'm looking for. Not a write-up. Thanks guys. I'm very happy to be a part of the g35 community!!!

I'm pretty sure it is DP (the color profile on those pics is off i think). Unless I'm color blind (which might be the case too ) haha. i havent actually seen the car very good in direct sunlight..i picked it up last night, and test drove it on an overcast day. So is leaving it in reverse a bad idea?

No, leaving in reverse is not a bad idea. I usually leave mine in 1st, force of habit.

Thank you guys!!! I have been having a prob w/ getting into 2nd gear, seems to be the most 'violent" shift..of all the gears, but it's more than likely me and my inexperience w/ manual trannys hahah. Ill set my tripod up sometime this weekend and get some great shots. i LOVE this thing though...Can't find out where to mount my GPS though
