You do not have to be premier. There's an announcement on the topic in the Marketplace.

In short, you simply need to meet one of these three criteria:

Member of the site for at least 45 days
Post Count of 300 or more
Be a Premier Member.
Get access to the classifieds through a paid subscription

The last two are available here. The premier membership is definitely a better deal IMO since you get other benefits as well (plus its for a year as opposed to a month). If you don't know what I'm referring to, look at the main forum index and look at the premier members section and one of the subforums in particular.
