I Trashed The 2003 3.2 CL TYPE S
That is a clean looking G. Similar to you, I ditched my 03 CL-S for the G, but wasn't lucky enough to get a coupe. Either way, I don't miss my CL-S at all, as it was a little scary driving on the slipping 2nd gear 5AT. Comptech mods were fun while they lasted...

I just put on 5 LED bulb in the clearance, blue high beams and also the same 5 Led bulbs in the side markers. Im not feeling the blue H4 it doesn't have a good look. I've been looking at some PIAA H4 bulds. I seen some H4 LED that looks nice...

Given the fact there seems to be a couple of people in this thread with experience of both, I figured this would be a good place to ask.
2 of the cars I'm seriously considering for my next purchase are the 2003 G35C 6MT and the 2003 Acura CL Type-S 6spd. I've been trying to weigh the pros and cons of both, but it may come down to which I feel isn't going to be a mechanical nightmare. Given these are both premium *** brands, you wouldn't expect that, but from what I've been reading here about all the G issues, it's got me a bit worried.
From the owner(s), I'd like to get your impressions of both. Which you prefer and why. I understand this is an Infiniti board so there's going to be bias towards that. Thanks, and sorry for hyjacking your thread.

Transmission Recall Your covered till 104k
NO VSA
Hard tugging from Limited slip differential
Interior accessories always falling apart
Faulty radio with no bass
Paint chipping
No fogs
Not a lot of aftermarket parts
FWD
Bad Window seal Front and Back
Faulty rear view mirror
Faulty heated seats
Bad navi
Only 260 HP 232 Ib-ft torque (torque way to low)
Good Things:
3.2 Vtec engine sound and blazzing fast top speed 147
Short ratio MT and smooth clutch
Handling is sick
Bottom line the g35 wins hands down. I love everyhting about the car.
