Another G35S Member Here!
Hey All, I just picked up my 07' G35S about a week ago and I am loving every second of it! She had the Premium, Navigation and Tech Packages. I came from a 98' Honda Civic Coupe so you can say it is in an entirely different league of cars. I have also been a long time reader of the forum ever since I started looking for a new car about a year ago, in fact you guys are part of the reason I ended up with a G after seeing yours. Loving that VQ35 engine as well! Take a look at some of my photos of her the next day after picking her up. Lots of mods in the near future!

Thanks guys. Snow, its a 5AT I was hoping for a 6MT but they are so hard to come by here. I had been driving the G35x models which is all you see in new england but I fell in love with this rear drive beast. Got a good deal and I couldn't resist. Although now I am a bit worried about the winter as I have only owned front wheel drive cars for our winters. Already have a set of Dunlops Winter Sport M3's on the car now however. As far as the 4WAS I have no idea, is there any way to tell if I do or not? To be honest I did not even know it was an option.

there is a good chance that your car has it, usually if they are loaded with the 3 packs then 4was comes too.
stick your head under that *** end of the car and look right behind the diff, you will ether see a steel mount, or an electronic actuator. the actuator will have rubber boots on each side of it connecting to the lower arm. actuator=4was
also might be easer to try to start the car with out stepping on the brake,
ull have to push the button twice, (once for acc, and again for ignition)
all the lights in the dash will light up and ull see one yellow one that says 4was.
if you have 4was, take your next on ramp at like 50+, you will feel the back end change, it feels like its almost about to brake loose, and the back end will change its track, its hard to explain but i can feel it every time. also you will notice that the steering ratio will change depending on speed and how sharp the curve in the road is

I had to go poke out in the pouring rain just to find out! I don't think that I do, I turned on the push button twice and did not see any 4WAS light. Did a bit of reading up on it however it seems pretty nice though. I will take a second look around next time I go for a drive however. Thanks for the tips on how to check it out man.
