new member - to buy or not to buy

hey everyone,
i am currently in the process of looking for a newer car. i have found a 2005 g35 4 door and i'm in love but i have some questions. i live about 4 hours away from my family and don't know anything about working on cars and want a dependable car that i won't have to keep putting money into. i am currently driving a 2000 nissan maxima gle and while it's been a good car, i've laid out some money in the past 2.5 year for alternator, starter, front end bar (can't remember what they called it exactly), new tires, new brakes, replaced all 6 engine coils (some more than once) even new paint on hood and roof (clear coat was peeling and had rust spots). needless to say, i'm ready to sell it while i still can before i have to put more money into it. i want a car that i can get in and drive without any worries and i want it to last for a while. i am not financially abundant enough to buy another car in 2 years. so please, give me opinions, suggestions, etc. i want to make the best choice.

thanks!

Welcome from Ky! We've had our 03 sedan for 4 yrs now and the only repair has been just a few weeks ago. Had to replace the cam position sensors (around $300). Other than that, been trouble free and only done regular maintenance. Of course, it's how well the PO treated the car that will tell the longevity and dependability.
