I just bought a used g35x with 26500 miles and got a great deal. Very happy with the car, but still a little confused. I apologize becuase this is a bit wordy - but i really need advice from people who actually know what they are talking about. I bought this from a Honda dealer that got it on a trade in in near perfect condition. My biggest question right now regards the extra packages and warranty issues that i have to think about. I obviously want to take very good care of this car and want to do what is best for my vehicle (and my bank account). The dealer offered me all of these additional packages to insure the vehicle with an extended warranty (which runs out in 10/2011) amongst other things. Everything they use is through a company called Zurich. Here is what I have been offered with prices - let me know what you guys think. I am a bit stuck as to what i should do.

1. Universal Security Guard (%399) - puts stickers that leave a residue visible only under UV light if removed with the vehicle vin number on them on various areas and parts of the car. There will also be a warning sticker in the window. I am a little paranoid about someone stealing the car in the neighborhood that I currently live (car parked on street for at least next few months) - this may be worth it and give me some piece of mind if it actually works ! Any thoughts on this? Also, they will pay me 5 grand if the car is stolen and not recovered.

2. Extended Vehicle Service Contract for 60 months and an additional 60,000 miles ($2,684) - With this i feel like i can get an extended warranty elsewhere for less money and at a more appropriate time (ie closer to 10/11). It would basically mimic a manufacturer's warranty.

3. Zurich shield - Paint and fabric sealants to keep the interior and exterior of the car in better condition ($499). Again, I want to baby this car and keep it in top shape - is this sort of thing worth the money? Has anyone done anything like this?

4. Road Hazard tire and wheel ($630)- helps pay for damages to tires and wheels. Roadside assistance and towing included. Apparantly the tires and wheels are very expensive on this car (something I probably should have been aware of going into the deal but was not). I am thinking this may not be worth it but the dealer said a lot of people go for this (including himself). No idea if this is worth it or if he is full of **** like i suspect.

5. Ultimate Damage Protection ($749)- repairs rips, tears, burns, dings, windshield chips, and lost keys. I want to baby this car!! I dont want to get sucked into something that isnt worth it.

All the fine print looks good on all of these packages in which a lot of fine print is required (ie warranty and damage protection)

I am kind of sold on the security guard but if it is bs please let me know.

Everything else is sort of up in the air right now and i want to make the right decision in order to properly care for my vehicle. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
