Finally got my G35

Joined this site *ages* ago when I was still a Ph.D student in grad school, wanted a good new car, and loved the original G35. Put it off what seems like forever after graduating because with the new job, new kids, car for the wife, and everything else.

And then, about a month ago, my grad school beater met its end, and as of today, I'm the very happy owner of a CPO 2007 G35 6MT w/ Nav Blue Slate on Black. The 600 mile drive to get the car back home was quite enjoyable.

Better late than never, eh? Washed it by hand to get the grime and bugs of 600 miles of highway and interstate driving off of it today. Also took care of a few minor things (seat protectors for the car seats in the back, programming seat positions and radio settings, etc.). Damn this car is fun to drive; keeping my wife out of it and in the Prius (which she insisted was *her* car when I still had the grad school beater) will be a minor challenge now.
