Hey Guys....new here and to the G35. I own a restoration & performance shop specializing in Mustangs. I've been a Ford guy all my life but also own a Magnum, '66 Chevy II and '90 Corvette...in general I am really just a gearhead car guy. I came to own my '03 G35 Coupe through the unfortunate circumstance of the major Tornados that came through the Southeast on April 27th...A good friend lost his house, garage...everything when an EF-4 Tornado ripped through Ringold, GA....The G35 was his wife's car...his Mustangs and one of my own were in the garage that was vaporized. All the cars were damaged..some more seriously than others and I am currently repairing them in my shop. Insurance totalled the G35 and having always liked the car I had him buy it back so that I could keep and repair it. I've replaced the windshield, back glass and quarter windows and at this point it's beat up but driveable. It had been meticulously maintained since new which is why I wanted it. Here is a picture of it right after we removed the house wall off the car and got it out of what was left of the garage on the house. It's an easy fix for me...straighten and repaint. So...just thought I'd introduce myself and my EF-4 Survivor G35 coupe.
