Finally.... my G
Finally.... my G
After years of dreaming and saving (and by saving i mean lunch money, pay from a multitude of jobs, and allowance) I finally bought my own G35!
Here's a little background on me. First of all, im 17. i know most of you are going "why would a 17 year old buy a G?" well, ever since i was a child ive always wanted one. when i was 15 i started saving every penny i could so i could get a car when i learned how to drive. this didnt mean i knew i wanted to get a G for my first car. i spent most of these 2 years looking at cars that offered performance and something that would attract my parents' attention. i looked over many cars like the civic SI, accord V6, and many others of that sort. as the years passed, i accumulated quite a lot of money (in my perspective) around $12,000. i was looking around craiglist in norcal for some cheap performance cars when my friend calls me and tells me his cousin is selling his G35. Excited yet somewhat peeved as i knew i couldnt afford a decent G i asked the price. little did i know that it was barely out of my budget: $13,500. Clean title, 53,xxx miles. there must be a catch right? and so there was: 6 owners. i talked to my mom about it and she thought that was just too many owners but after throughly checking it out with my mechanic, we decided to splurge for it. i spent all the money i had and my mom agreed to pitch in 1,500 for the car and i drove it home today. what a glorious day it was. my dream car, in the perfect color and a 6MT.
i know i have much to learn about the G scene but i hope that everyone is friendly here and i hope to get to know all of you much better!

Welcome to DRIVER! You're lucky being in NorCal, there's a great bunch of members in your area that would be glad to give you support. Go to Forums then Regional finally to NorCal, that should put you in touch with them. Keep in mind when making mods where you live and the laws of our state. Some of the member here will offer advice on mods but don't realize the scrutiny we're under in CA. they've only heard stories. You don't want to do anything to give the cops a reason to pull you over....being 17 is enough! I suggest you spend a lot of time here reading all the information you can. If you have a question just use our SEARCH or go to the correct section.

Without a custom made box, they make boxes for two 10's or one 12 on ebay. A good mono amp and your bass is bumping.
