Hello, chick from Tennessee here
Hi y'all, I posted in the Buying forum a while back, but today I have my car in the flesh, a Black Obsidian 2008 G35x, 46k miles. I've been in SUVs for my entire driving life, so I've yet to get used to how low I am and the difference in visibility, but I spent all day driving this car around and I had so much fun. I've got a week to check her out, so I am going to put her through everything I can think of. I've already opened up on the interstate; the pedal requires a little more force than I am used to, but when it goes, it goes! That exhaust sound is a wonderful purr. Throughout the day I would forget and I would look around for a motorcycle or a sports car...then realize: oh yeah, it's ME making that noise. I also went through a heavy construction zone where speeds were 0-5mph for two miles. I used that time to go through all of the XM radio stations.
This used to be a lease, and I think it belonged to Freddy Krueger before I got it, maybe Edward Scissorhands. There were nicks and scratches everywhere, especially around the door handles. I don't have any pictures of them because I ran to a detailer and got them buffed out. He did an awesome job.
After my week-long trial period is over, I'm going to dive into my mods and a couple of small repairs. As of right now, I've only got shift ****, tint, and sound on the mod list. Anyway, enough talking. Here's a picture!

Thanks for the welcomes. Y'all are fast.
I forgot to add this picture. I used to park wherever I pleased, even next to those parking lot shopping cart stations...I just didn't care. Now I care very much! This is how I'll be parking from now on.
I hiked up to Best Buy to get an adapter that will let me plug my Droid X into the car's iPod connection. It seems those adapters don't exist.
