Hey everyone-

Just a quick post to introduce myself and say hello to all you fellow G owners.

I always admired the G35 sedans and coupes, but was never in a position to own one. A new one was certainly never in the budget. But last week when my trusty yet slightly embarrassing Mitsubishi Outlander aka "family truckster" bit the dust, I started to look for a clean used G35 sedan.

The 07-08s were comfortably out of my price range, but a dealer near my office had a nice looking low mileage 05 X at a nice price. I test drove it and was pleasantly surprised by how solid and brawny it felt. A day of haggling later and the ivory pearl sleeper is resting soundly in my garage.

I've always had a soft spot for good used cars, and this is by far the nicest one I've owned thus far.

Probably won't get too crazy with mods but would like to do something in terms of paint protection as I have a fairly lengthy commute and the front ends of my cars get pelted with all manner of debris.

Anyway, I look forward to researching the wealth of knowledge here and hope I can find a way to contribute as well.

remember the day you said "light on the mods" so we can laugh with you in a few years post up some pix! we love seeing a fresh G before the bug hits
