Hey ladies. Nice place here. I was invited by wannabe6mt and am currently in the market for a new car. I started by looking at 05-07 Legacy GT's but they are pretty hard to come across. Upon a search for other options wannabe linked me to a 04 G35 sedan with 62k on it local. Its pretty high on my list now.
My previous car was a 07 Focus ZX3 so this will be a big improvement. I had built I for fun mostly, but did some light road racing at BIR here in MN. Was at a 2 minute lap on the short course. I had Eibach Sportlines and Tokico shocks, front strut tower bar, rear sway, endlinks, Steeds SRi, Crane stage 1 cams and custom tune, and a bunch of look pretty things. Black housing headlights and 55w HIDs, tinted tails, 35% tint, removed sidemarkers, basically the murdered look on my black car. Ill post pics when I'm not on my phone and maybe the video from my off road experience at bir.
Anyways, I did some reading on the VQ and the 04. Sounds like I'm glad I don't have to worry about oil and I hope the dash isn't a problem, if I buy this car. Lol. That's about it for now guys. Thanks for this wealth of knowledge here!

Hope everything works out for you with that car. It was a fairly nice low mileage 04 with just a couple things needing attention! (I looked at the car and drove it) back when a walser dealer had it.

Welcome to the club! We will have to take a pic of your 6MT Sedan with Andrews 6mt sedan, my 6mt sedan and Mikes 6mt sedan. That would each generation and refresh of the G haha in 6mts!

 

My idea, and yes it is needed! So pumped to have more 6mt sedan drivers to chat with!

 

I'm trying to keep this under wraps until I get the bumper fixed. PO must have backed it into something slow and the paint is spidered on the bumper. Also, right behind the rear passenger tire there is a chip and dent. The dealership is fixing it for free, I just have to surrender the car for a few days next week to the paint shop. Then I get to wax the **** outta it. I have a picture from when I was test driving it.

Not a clue. This was in the line for proving grounds. There were 100+ cars in line. I was one of the cars that went off track last year during PG. But the dealership didn't need to know that... ;-)

 

I feel like that probably wouldnt have happened if you would have had ABS hahaha


And so thats why your not saying anything on MNSC or facebook haha. I can't wait to see what people say on MNSC when you finally say something.. lol
