Just wanted to introduce myself! I'm coming from a boosted, b18 swapped Civic sedan. Was a big Civic guy, I'm actually a moderator over at ClubCivic.com. The Civic was my first car. Originally automatic, we converted it to 5 speed, swapped the motor, and boosted her. Makes about 250whp, definitely a fun car. But it's getting rusty and I'm looking to get out of the Honda game. Soo.. getting an 05 G35 tomorrow or Saturday! (Just waiting for the loan to process, papers have been signed and everything...)

^Doubt it, its roughly the same power but now on a much heavier car.

OP, I would lower it first.

Welcome man... Same here. Went from a built 230whp d-series EG to a g35.

And wanting to get out of the honda game? why? lol You wont find your G as fun as your civic. I can guarantee that.

But if your looking for a more mature ride, the G35 is it!

EDIT:
Hands down. Civic would smoke the G35.
That civic would smoke a bolt on g35.
SC G35 is what you would need to beat it.

 

g35 is the ultimate driving experience.

Honestly I can't say since I don't have the car yet and I've only driven it once. But I would think it is quicker. I love boost, and I know I'm going to miss it haha


Nice! I love EG's. I'm actually not sure if I want to get out of the Honda game I guess, but it's been my only car since I've been 16 (I'm 22 now), so I just want to give something else a try haha

 

Ya hey im not saying you need a honda for every single car in your life! Just saying G35 for the DD and a honda for project car

Truth! I'd love to keep the Civic for Autocross. I've done it once and it was a TON of fun. Funny, that I was torn between getting a v35 or an ap1. Chose the Infiniti because NY winters suck and S2K's aren't the most stable vehicles in the winter lol.
