My name is Tim. I just picked up my new-to-me '04 G35 Sedan 6MT yesterday. So far, outstanding. My only complaints are the locations of the seat controls and the donut spare. Been lurking around here for a few weeks, asked a couple of questions and did a bunch of reading. If I'm correct, the red struts under the rear mean sport suspension and all 4 windows rolling down while holding the unlock button on my FOB means it's a Premium. Correct me if I'm wrong. Looking forward to learning more about my new car. Pictures to come tomorrow, I hope.

Hummm.... i think that red "strut" is your sway bar that might be a nice upgrade that someone did for you. Not sure. but i think all the FOB does that for the windows.

 

Wtf is a sway bay?

Also any Nissan does the windows down while holding the unlock button on your remote. You will know your car is premium if it has leather seats, a moon roof, and a bose sound system. Also your struts if red are the sport package, which the sport package automatically came with the premium package.

Nice to be here. And, actually, it had been modified before it was sold to Carmax in Houston, where I had it shipped from. There's a Stillen sticker under the hood. Probably had a Z-Tube or something. Would have been nice if they had left it on for me.

On a side note, if any Houston residents on this board recognize the car when I post up pics, tomorrow, maybe you still have the mods and would sell them to me cheap, lol. I'm planning a trip to Galveston end of November to do some saltwater fishing and possibly visit Sam Rayburn Reservoir.

I been enjoying it. I took a day off work yesterday just to enjoy the car. It's fantastic. I was talking about tho FOB rolling down all 4 windows. I found a sticky saying only the front windows would roll down if it was non-premium. Now, off to find the audio section so I can see about getting the JDM A/C controls.
