Soon to be newbee to the G35 world
Hi Everyone,
I will hopefully be picking up a 2005 G35x, automatic sedan on Monday. It has 105K on it and appears to be in very good shape. Getting it for 8K.
I'm aware of the oil consumption issues that the 3.5 has. Any other things I should be aware of as I venture into the G35 world
?
I've owned many cars over the years (Iroc Z28, 5 liter mustang, 1990 vette, 540 M sport, Acura Cl Type S). They all have been very good cars...each with their own pluses and minuses. I'm hoping the G35 will be a good experience as well. I have been surfing through the sight...lot of good stuff here

Welcome! Definitely a very fun car to drive. A couple other things to look out for is the compression rods, and I believe on the x models have some front wheel bearing issues (not 100% sure on that one though)
