2 door coupe, mt6 Brembo edition, black on black
Smile Help!

my 04 G35MT6 Coupe has static coming from the rear speakers (stock Bose system)
even when the stereo is turned off! what can I do? any ideas what could cause this?

Maybe a blown speaker, remove the grills and disconnect them if you want a quick easy solution. Otherwise inspect them and correct the situation accordingly whether that means replacement speakers or wiring adjustments.

Don't think they are blown, just started to make the noise, if they were blown it would stop when I turn off the stereo. it is loud when it 's turned off not so loud when it's on. very strange!

are the Bose systems prone to failure? can they short out? Has anyone else had this problem?
