Hello Guys! I just bought a used G35 Base. Nothing special yet. I come from the 240sx/S-Chassis land, just like a few guys here. I will post pictures in the am when the lights out. I plan on getting a few mods:

1.BBK upgrade from G35 Coupe/350 z or the G37 brakes. This is first.
2. PBM coils and fender pull (1 inch) and shave. I support the my home town shop.
3. Rims. Not gonna go crazy on these. I have something in mind all ready. Something chrome lipped with a white face.
4. Front lip to even out the stock side skirts or maybe OEM factory Aero.
5. Plastic dip paint job in Burgundy. It's my car please don't flame. to each his own, right? My boys flamed me about the idea, LOL!
6. Also if my autotragic transmission ever has a issue, I'll do the 6MT swap.

my CD player Just went out after two days of owning the damn car! Arrrghh! Oh well time for the double din....LOL! Glad to be here.

P.S. What bumper is THIS?!?!?!

I find pictures but no label on who makes it. Also is this a whole kit or just a front? I also looked to see if AUTECH made anything for the car like the M45 and I can't find anything other than Nismo stuff.

I haven't posted my own new member thread yet, so I'll just keep crashing others' threads.

My CD player worked when I test drove it, then when I finally decided to buy it a few weeks later, it didn't work right away. I called the dealer (yeah, dealer bought) and told him it was broken. I dropped the car off a few days later, and they replaced the CD player. While they sent in the CD player, instead of having me drive around without A/C they gave me a loaner for a week and a half. It was a good feeling getting 30+ mpg right before going to my X's 20 mpg.

I guess the moral of the story is to tell the guy you bought it from to pay for the fix (assuming private sale). It might be too late, though.

Yeah It's broken. I won't call the seller back for it, for what I paid Vs. dealing with someone, it ain't worth it. I might as well just get the double den and call it a day. I just moved and I found some 240SX parts that I'm gonna sell, that are kinda rare if you own a s14. The double den with working CD/aux and BOMEX rear (O.E.) valences. I'm also gonna sell my my wife's old car (FOCUS) for parts for the G35. I will post pictures later when I get settled.

Goal for the month is BBK! G35 6MT Brembo or G37 BBK. Which every comes first! Also will my stock rims clear the the BBK's?

Welcome!

IMHO, I would go Akebono over OEM Brembo's, but that's just me. I just like the way they look (with the right color).

What rims did your G come with?
