I was looking for a coupe in 2006, but bought an E46 M3 Cabrio 6 speed instead. Economy changed, M is gone, So back to where I started from. For the last 10 months I was looking for a '06 6MT, but they are hard to come by and command premium prices. Since dealers know the market on them, they wont budge on pricing.
I was about to give up and head back to my tried and true love Mustangs (67,68,89-93, 03-06,10-12 V8 only). When I was lucky enough to find a 2004 DG Coupe 6MT with 71K in great condition, for a great price. My last chance before I ended my G Coupe search, so I jumped on it.
The only damage on this car is curb rash on the wheels. No problem, going to fix them up and have them color matched or maybe use plastidip spray till I can find wheels (Factory 19" Rays or ???) going flush as possible without sacrificing handling.
I do enjoy the art of driving
and will put the car through its paces. So my mod schedule is cosmetics, since its not yours till it looks like yours. Then handling is my 1st priority for performance enhancements. I will do intake and exhaust with a tune to flow more air in and out and gain some HP and MPG.
In time forced induction.
I look forward to meeting other G35 owners.

Well I have done a few things small, but things none the less since the last post.
I removed the Infiniti and G35 emblems leaving the Mt Fuji (Plastidipped black now).
Plastidipped the front grill black but leaving the Mt Fuji chrome (tried black, but to boring)
Plastidipped the wheels black after sanding out some of the deeper wheel scrapes.
Plastidipped the area between the exhaust tips on the rear bumper where the diffusers go. To continue the black theme from the wheels and lip.
Spaced the fronts 20mm and the rears 25mm.
Put a lip on the front bumper also plastidipped black.
Today I put on a Stillen Z-Tube and K&N drop in. Should have done that first. Cheap effective mod.

Also, This week I hope to get some 350Z Tein S-Techs, so I can get them put on or put them on myself next weekend.
Edit: Ordered from Import Parts Pro today.
Update: Got them.
