Your RSX with the K24A2 will be able to take on any full bolt-on G, no matter how fast the driver thinks his car is.
Haha +1
If im able to hang on to it its going to pretty fun. Ill be able to unless I end up with a kid or deciding to buy a house. (No current intention of either any time soon)

I also meant to clarify in the last post I wouldnt start building like that until I had a regular dd. How do you guys feel about the body style of the x>07 35 vs the newer 37 coupes? I think I prefer the last gen.

instead of keeping the RSX and dumping a bunch in mods AND getting a G, why not do 0 mods, sell the RSX and buy an NSX for daily driving?

It would be a machine. Only set back on that engine in that chassis is no traction. If you dont know what you are doing you spin all the way through 4th.

Guys run high 13s all day with na k20. I whole heartedly say spraying is for cheaters. Or at least it's a cheap desperate way to grab power.

Im not here saying the rsx even swapped is a better platform and I dunno why you felt the need to point that irrelevant information out. Building the rsx would be fun to me. Itd be my project. I want a mostly stock g35 to ride around in for a swanky fun dd and thats all im saying.

Lets have this thread considered closed eh? I guess thats partially what I get for joining a car specific forum while owning a "competing" car. Ill let you have your final word on saying the g has a better platform. Not as responsive to bolt ons but can and should be faster dollar for dollar put in (v6 vs 4 banger for ***** sake)

I really like the g and I currently love my rsx it was the same with my civic and I may eventually sell the rsx but for now this is my ambition.

I have respect for those K20s. Had a buddy of mine years ago handling some decently fast cars with a comptech sc, hondata and some other stuff. Good luck with the build and welcome to Driver

I came over to the G family a few months ago from a modded DA Integra...

I can tell you these few things happened after getting my G

1) the difference in the handling is night and day... The powerband is different. Basically you go from the shifter cart feel of the integra family ( including the RSX) to somehting more like what you would imagine from a slightly heavy base luxury sports car. Again... night & day difference

2) I know the RSX is a bit more uppity than a DA, but... after driving a G for a month ( cause you will put the RSX aside for the first month trust me) you are going to hop back into the RSX and feel like even with bolt ons... it feels a bit more gutless than you remember.

3) Even though the G doesn't corner like the RSX/Integra... It is far more fun to drive & much more comfortable to sit in. The stock seats have far better bolsters & hold you in the seats well even if you do feel like you are sitting that much higher off the ground.

4) after a few months you will start thinking you should sell the RSX to start modding your G... This I do not say light heartedly either. I loved my DA, I loved driving it, I swore up and down I was never going to let it go & make it a bad *** sleeper and drop an ITR or K-Swap in it... Guess what? A hispanic guy in East San Jose owns it now and I haven't shed 1 tear over it.

So it was with my civic. The rsx was to be my segue from from little kid car to a more grown up toy. Ill still likely keep it depending on the job out look after school (may be forced to keep it depending on the job outlook) If I cant afford to have/keep both Ill likely stick with the rsx and keep it as is. The g is basically going to be my reward to myself for finishing school and getting a big boy job(with big boy pay) so until the day I can afford it....

And maybe by that time itll be like you said and Ill have grown out of it. I was happy to be rid of the civic haha.

the good thing about #1 is that you can add adjustable sway bars for $300 and all understeer is gone and its a completely different beast in the corners. at least for the 6MT coupe it is
