Got a G!

First 6sp and first manual trans car. So far I really like the car I bought it about a month ago 04 6mt coupe 55k miles and after some initial work tune up stuff I trust this car to be reliable and a lot of fun. Only thing I have done to it since Ive had it is change the belts, spark plugs, air filter, cabin filter, oil change, and am currently running some essential lube in the gas to try and clean the fuel system up if it needed it. Currently averaging 18MPG and I do like to accelerate and do some fun stuff. Oh I also took the axles pieces off and greased them to fix the axle click pretty easy to do. Currently have ART pipes and the copper iso thermal spacer to install but waiting on the TDX2 to arrive to do it together. Only thing that is wrong with the car is there is a slight leak in the valve cover but it isnt noticable from just checking the oil I noticed it when I changed the plugs one plug had oil on sitting around it. Plan on adding more things to the car but all in do time. meanwhile I cant wait to get the exhaust set up done and spacer in.! Name: IP1wiWQ.jpg

Nice car! Is the Valve Cover itself leaking or does it just need a new gasket?

Nice ride. I just had my tdx v2 + art pipes installed yesterday and so far I love it! your gonna have some rasp after around 3800rpm but it should settle after the exhaust gets broke in. But congrats and good luck with whatever you decide to do your G!

Its just the seal but for the spark plug not the actual head gasket wish i could just get the seals without having to do the whole drilling thing ive seen people do.

That picture was when I first bought it the previous owner couldnt take the plates off they were rusted on and the bolt just turned lol so he tried cutting and pulling it off so I told him i would just saw it off when I got home... so I did and now its good with new plates on it.

Thanks! yeah Im beyond excited to hear the new sound the exhaust it has now is stock but rusted through in a spot by the muffler so its a little loud and drones I was just gonna fix it but i figured if its broken anyway might as well just get an upgrade

:
My bolts rusted on too, you'd think they would have thought of that. I replaced them with some stainless bolts so it wouldn't happen again.
