"New" '08 G35 Owner

Finally figured out how to post! I've had my G35 for almost a month and love it!! I'm posting a couple of pics here taken in front of the new 49ers stadium being built in Santa Clara.

My G does not have Nav as it was hard to find one in this area in the condition I wanted. Consequently I've bought a Garmin and I'll be posting the build of a custom mount I made for it.

NICE! I like the color and wheels. How many miles on her? The nav is something IMO you dont need unless you are on the road alot for your job. And todays smart phones all have it.Enjoy the G!

Hey Gman56

Yeah, I originally wanted a black one but I really liked the look of this color. I had just looked at a Sport model with only 32k on the clock and was seriously considering it when I saw this one advertised just up the road. As I was looking at it the guy with the Sport called and said "oh by the way, it has been in an accident"... nope says I.... The one I bought had 61k on it and a clean carfax. No brainer!!! I do use my smart phone for gps but I'm retired and trying to watch a smaller screen while driving is difficult at times and my less than wonderful Sprint network coverage dictated something better. And at around 100 bucks with lifetime maps a Garmin was an easy choice. I'll be posting my DIY mount soon... I couldn't find a mount I liked so I made one!!

Sport coupes I think are run hard by their owners! I wanted a coupe too.But they either had high mileage or wrecked once.I got a 05 sedan with 84,660 on the clock no nav dont need it.It had all the service records since new! The dealer gave me a two yr warranty had to buy her! Its color is Serengeti sand metallic. After I bought it find out its a rare color.Im also retired at early age 50! The G is awesome to drive I like awd.I had an audi a6 quattro prior to the G.
I like audi's awd system better.Infiniti's is good.I will see how it is on the Dragon in a couple weeks when I get home to visit. The audi on the Dragon was glued to the road! Will see how the G does.I will not speed the Dragon will kill you if you drive like a fool!!!!

I love the color you got too. Not many around. What is the Dragon??

The Dragon is a 11 mile stretch of road thru the mountians in Tenn and North Carolina. It has 300 curves and s turns and twistys! It test you and your car! Alot of car clubs and motorcycle clubs take it.Its public road.Thats true trust your gut! I usually go with my first thought of a car it works. If my gut says no I go!
