Hey all, so I just picked up an 08 G35xS sedan with premium, nav, tech and 39k miles on it. I've been out looking at G's for couple of weeks and drove a bunch of them. it came down to this 08 and an 2010 G37xS. But I ultimately went with the 08 mainly because of the color (liquid platinum) and I like the 08 style sport wheels better. Both the G35 and G37 looked and drove similar to me. The G37 has a few minor tweaks and changes to the exterior and interior but not enough that really matters to me.
Before I even went looking for a G I had already determined the first thing I was going to do would be to lower it. The amount of wheel gap on these awd cars is crazy. Eibachs have already ordered.
My Previous car was an 07 Acura TL. I had installed coilovers and did a bunch of other mods to it including a 3-way active sound system with two 15's in infinite baffle. This time around I'm going with a more mild drop hence the eibach's, 20mm spacers will be next. and even though the factory bose system in the infiniti actually isn't half bad I'll be replacing it soon with the aftermarket components from my previous ride which sounds 10x better. I'll be looking forward to participating and learning more on this forum in the future.
