New member from New Zealand - From an RB26 to this?!

I guess i better intro myself considering i will no doubt have questions, planning to light/mildly modify in future! Have a V35 Skyline 350GT Coupe - Premium Edition, whatever that means? But is a 6speed and equipped with factory Brembos. Light mods from taking ownership, Nismo S-Tune suspension, and fujitsubo exhaust.

Having owned a couple of R34 GTRs only mildly tuned, making a fun 310kw @ hubs - unfortunately sold for other priorities etc came across a bargin of a 350gt, probably because its a car that for some reason hardly anyone in NZ modifies. Never driven a bigger sport orientated N/A car before, but came to appreciate what a great car these are and loved the response of an NA that is hard to beat... with good low torque and really loved this and the 350Z (little sharper and nimbler i reckon) due to the n/a response and great handling chassis and easy to control rwd

Here is mine, very stock, joined GTDriver.com to find out about the best rim/wheel option mainly. Will be looking to do coilovers, and mild brake upgrade while im at it

Another Kiwi!

Nice and clean purchase. I bought a non-premium model from Auckland a couple of weeks back and drove it to Christchurch.

I agree, they are a nice and torquey wee car for a stock japper haha.

Time to start a g35 nz club?

If it helps, i was looking at 19x9.5 +25 front and 19x11 +25 rear which is a nice and flush fitment on the g35 guards. How much lower does the S-Tune suspension drop the car?

Also what do you think of the fujitsubo exhaust? i was looking at getting the Fujitsubo catback system + Y-Pipe.

Hey, yeah wow, im surprised to find a member from NZ, i guess though as it would be quite a smaller number in NZ that are into these, this is one of the main places!

Yeah i never twice thought about these series form Nissan, but sort of stumbled onto it by trading my well modified widebody S15 for a 350z + $ my way and realised these were great cars all round!

Yeah ive heard the ones they are selling on TM (was on the 350z) and must say it sounded like a tin can and not a pleasant sound at all. but was a full exhaust which im sure helped with response and power - but the fujitusbo, yeah its a great sounding exhaust. What a n/a sound sound like! I have test pipes going into it, i actually dont even know if it has a Y pipe... could be just the back half, but does sound good. You'll love it

Well perhaps there will be one soon as Ive noticed an influx of these coupes coming up for sale by import dealers, but still rare to find a manual in brembos!

Yeah S-tune are great, firmer but still comfortable yet sporty. Not crashy how some coilovers can be. Looking to upgrade to Fortune Auto tho, as have heard good things about them. Not sure how much it lowers it by but only very mild id say! Have any pictures of yours? Planning on modifications?
