New G, hello!
New G, hello!
Hey everyone! Just purchased my 2006 Infiniti G35 a week and a half ago after patiently researching/waiting for the right one to show up.
Been in love with the body style since they first came out and decided to go with this over a G37.
I ended up finding it through CarMax but it is a auto, silver, 06 G35 coupe with only 24k miles.
I really do love the stock look and feel of the car aside from the stereo. Keeping the Bose stereo but I also just purchased a Pioneer AVHX8500BHS head unit with the JDM Dash Kit coming shortly.
Look forward to contributing and researching all the stickies as a member now even though this awesome forum has already served as a basis for so many options and decisions with this car already.

I also appreciate your humbleness...
If you need assistance tackling the double din install PM me or look up Wrathernaut's double din installation guide under the Audio, video, and electronics section.

Paint color noted and it's my pleasure.
I had no problem doing the double din on my Scion but that scene did look a lot less like a biopsy. This one I might just get all the parts for and pass on to the pros.
I reviewed the thread to get all the right parts though.
Only other problem I've been having is getting the car into and out of my parking garage ramp without scraping the bottom middle area like no tomorrow.
The car is stock it's just the wheel base is much longer and it's the only place I scrape.
I got the car up on a lift and it looks like I'm scraping the exhaust heat shield and the back plate.

I am and I approach it at an angle as much as possible. But, unfortunately, not too much space to angle. I've attached pics just for humor. Humor and it makes the tears more tolerable every time I do it.
Note where my car is once I approach the curb when I tried exiting.
