White Coupe 6mt from CT
White Coupe 6mt from CT
What's up my G brothers lol
Well... I've been into streetbikes for a while, but I'm not getting any younger and the family is growing so, bikes are sold and I decided to slow it down with a sportscar... (sort of)
I had alot of cars I liked and considered,
some where out of my logical budget:
FD Rx7
MK4 Supra
R33 R32 Skyline (Impossible to reg in CT anyway)
E46 M3
Nsx (lol just kidding)
and a few that where in my range:
Wrx
Eclipse/Talon awd
G35/350z
Rx8
240sx S14
E36 M3
My choice "on paper" was the Wrx, being awd... in CT thats a major +
Drove one, it was quick but the interior and feel just didn't reflect the tag. And to find one in good (adult owned) shape was a task.
The E36 M3 for some reason got in my head, I read alot of good things about'em but I just couldn't bring myself to buying a 20yr +/- car (for$ 5-7k) As good as they may be.
I owned an 83' Rx7 and I'm just not ready to deal with another rotary. My Rx8 ideas faded fast.
A 240sx would have to be swapped, uh nah, not for me anymore.
Gsx and Tsi, good cars, hard to find...
Every car had its + and -
I always thought the G's looked great, so after some thought I started searching. Found a prospect on Craigs at a good winter price. I'm excited about my purchase, the car feels great, tight smooth handling, awesome engine sound, clean interior, Im just sad it has to sit in my garage till spring.
Well thats my story, spewed all at once lol
Looking through the threads and I see these cars have great potential and passionate owners.
This pic was actually on the Craigslist ad
I havent even registered her yet, but I'll be taking pics as soon as this snow melts I guess.

Thanks for reading
Andy

Thanks! yea cant wait to enjoy her on the road. Short term goals are, a nice tune up and buff/wax lol then maybe a zed tube, and plenum spacer. And then possibly nismo exhaust and a nice set of 20's if budget permits.
