Well i just picked up a lakeshore slate g35 on Xmas eve.... i plan to do mild mods because i have a highly modded mazdaspeed6 in my stable that is currenltly in the making for the low 11s high 10s. Fastest time from 2 years ago is 12.2 @113...

Looking forward to seeing what the VQ world has to offer!!! i have a lot of VQ friends so this will be loads of fun learning a new platform!! So all you maryland peeps hit me up and let me know where the local meets are so i can meet some of my new family!!!

Looks like we have the same color coupe. I thought the color was diamond graphite but, after doing some research I find that my coupes color is lakeshore slate which I love. I don't see this color often and it feels good to be different. I'm from Baltimore by the way.

Thank you and i have been reading for the past 3 months and learning more and more everyday until i am ready to pull my first dollar out of the pocket to start modding. I have owned the car for about 3 weeks now so i think the moding will begin in march or so. I have a lot of friends that have been in the VQ world for years so i have gotten a lot of real world evidence of what direction i can take with my car. I beleive i have been pretty informative to the mazda community so i hope to bring that same experience to this forum just as much as i will get out of it!!! Thanks, don't mean to be difficult but a 6MT 06 g35 under 70k miles. I found one out in VA, I'm gonna go up there to take a look at it and see the carfax. possibly haggle the price down abit lol but won't be able to look at it until tomorrow.
