Sos!

Hi Everyone! I'm a long time reader but I never had a reason to join until now... So.... Thinking I'm skilled at soldering I have begun my LED swap in my 05 G35. After successful completion of the clock, temp, ac, and compass i've moved on to the Gauge Cluster. 1/2 way through I plugged it in to see my progress and noticed one light not lit. So I attempted to repair it and when I went back to see if it worked my cluster shorted out. Now none of my gauges work or light up with the headlights on or off, (no its not the dimmer) Ive checked all three of the fuse panels and nothing appears to be blown. Whats even worse is the fact that when I turn my sedan off the batt light, drivers seat belt light, and the brake light all remain lit. Ive no clue what to do!! moreover, the ,meter fuse is rated 10amp and when I checked it I noticed it was actually a 15. Im afraid I fried something expensive! Anyone have any suggestions? At this point Ive started driving my honda again out of fear the computer doesn't send signal for the cooling fan to run.... Please advise... Thanks!

Sounds like you have a rogue wire heading in its own direction shorting out the board. Check your connections and look for something that may have come loose.
