Hi my name is Andrew and I'm new to this forum, I drive a 2004 g35x. I have a window problem, my driver side window is the only window that goes down and up, but when I put the key in the door to put the windows down the two back go down and the passenger one goes down about an inch and the windows will go back up with the key in the door. I already tired a new master window switch, any ideas on what I can do to fix the problem, please help and thanks

 

Don't worry, the g35's have window motor problems that should have been recalled.

Mine had the same problem except the driver side door.

You either have to reset the window motor by taking off the door panel, or get the motor itself replaced which costs about $160 and then labor.

 

Now to try the reset, there is a reset on the motor. My driver side window works just fine, it's my passenger front, passenger rear, and driver rear, I'll try it and will let you kno

 

And how would I be able to see if there is a recall on it

 

There isn't a recall on it.
There should be though, many have complained.

You'll just end up having to buy a new window motor if it is the problem.

 

Well my car is still covered under the 30 warranty and I'm going to try the window reset and try a test light to make sure it's the motor so I can make the place replace it
