New to the G -- San Jose, CA
Hey all!
Names Jonny, and I picked up my 2005 6MT G35 Coupe last weekend. Landed a good deal on it with only 47k miles and am looking to have this beast for quite awhile. I have experience in mechanical maintenance, but in the aviation field, so I'll probably be asking a LOT of questions. I've read through the forums this past week without signing up, and have learned a good amount already.
I'm still trying to figure out what I want to do about building the car. I'm currently having the passenger door locking problem (I think I read it's usually a bad actuator) and the "hot day sticky clutch" problem, which I'm going to try to take care of tomorrow by swapping the OEM DOT3 for some DOT4 fluid.
From there I've been debating if I want to start off with exhaust, or if I should just go for a test pipe and a muffler. This is where I start to get really lost. Right now it has a Wolf Tech popcharger + Z-Tube. Anyway, there's plenty of posts to read and searches to do so I won't make this post a book.
I'm looking forward to getting to know you guys, and my G35 a lot better!
Thank you!
