Comparing a 2005 g35c to a 2006 g35c.

Hey everyone, I am new on here and strongly considering a g35c with a 6MT. I currently drive a 2000ish g20t 5MT and that has pushed me into Infiniti. Anyway I have found two 35's and I am curious about the differences. besides the gunmetal look and the black both look very similar. The blk 05 is $13,500 and has 83,500mi and blk leather. He replaced the clutch and brakes. The brakes came from the 2008 G35S? Minor wear and tear on exterior and interior as well. Fully stock minus: Jim wolf performance clutch, single mass fly wheel, and new rear shocks. Really nothing crazy and the only thing I noticed was the headlights are getting that yellow look and the carpet looks warn. The gun metal 06 is $12,900 and has 70,000mi with blk leather as well. The mod list is super short, he has blk after market wheels, HID lights, an alarm, and a touch screen JVC DVD stereo with BT, USB, etc. Both come with locking covers and I don't know if the alarm on the 06 is after market. So with mods listed can anybody tell me factory, durability, reliability, spacing, etc. From my understanding they both run a VQ35DE. Also wondering if the back seats are big enough for a car seat? Thank you in advance!

If you have a kid I would strongly advise not to buy a G35C. A G35Sedan is a much better option on price alone. You get it for cheaper, insurance is hundreds less, and it is much more comfortable while still having that Infiniti feel.

Test drive a G35 from 06 or later. The revised model (after 06) is loads better looking then previous models.

I was worried mainly about the size of the back seat. Do you happen to know if the interior space is smaller or larger than the cruze? We have a cruze and we can fit them in the back.

Not sure front to back, but if you are taller then 5'6" you will not fit in the back seat. It's very small

Good thing I'm not sitting in the back . I'm just gonna have to bring the seat when I look at one. The cruze is tiny, but I am hoping I can fit it in their. So mechanically the 05 and 06 are the same? The 06 has better styling and fewer miles?

I think that might be why they both drove the same.
