Hey folks, just checkin in. Decided to sign up after my girlfriend got a new (to her) 08 G35 V6 sedan.

My girlfriend is now the owner of an 05 G35 V6 sedan. I'm wanting to get a little bit more info on these cars. I know a little bit about them, but I'd like to learn enough to make this car last. This car will likely be the car that gets her through school so I'm wanting to get the most I can out of the car. I maintain all of my vehicles, as well as all of my former ex's.

I plan to check the car over and make sure it's not due for a service. I will do the necessary services, and I plan to seafoam it thoroughly. I had a few questions about doing a throttle body cleaning. I have learned that you can't clean it like a normal TB. I don't want to go through the idle relearn process Is there another way to clean it?

Also, what kind of oil do you guys recommend? Car has 125k on it, and I don't know when it was serviced last so I may or may not change the oil just yet.

Anything else I should know or you would recommend I'd love to hear!
