Soon to be owner of 2003 G35 AT Coupe . Looking to do a few mods, first will probably be lowering the car, and rims. I love cars, but i dont know alot about them. What are good mods for an AT, could someone give an estimate for cost of lowering the car? Any suggestions for any specific brands, or anything else i should consider doing to the car? i'm not looking to do too much though, just few visual things, audio, and i just dont want the car to sound like a stock g35 so was thinking new exhaustI am on a budget as a college student, but i will be working some. looking to spend maybe $1000-1500 on the car before next summer. Eventually i'd like to get the car painted black & this is similar to how i'd like the car to look:

Lowering costs are completely dependent on how low, how much comfort you want, is adjustability necessary, and do you have the money to fix all the thing that are gonna fall apart once you lower it?

This is not the car to own if you're on a budget AND can't do your own work. Jus' sayin..

Could you elaborate please? What are negatives of lowering ? If they are gonna be costly then i'll leave it stock height. Also im not completely on a budget, just didnt plan on spending too much on the car . I also have my dad who knows a thing or 2, as well as my uncle who's a mechanic so i wouldnt be paying too much for labor .
