Howdy y'all
Howdy y'all
Yep I'm Texan, but of the liberal musician variety in Austin.
I have an 03 G35 Automatic Caribbean Blue that looked as if it belonged to
a travel agent when new. (17 in Chrome wheels and Caribbean blue will do that )
I bought it with 11k on the odometer.
It now has a Satin Black deck lid grill, and wing. And sports black staggered 18's.
245 in front and 275 in the rear. I'm attempting to keep it forever. It has 174k on it. Same radiator fluid, hoses, clamps etc..as a matter of fact it's entirely just as it came from the factory. Same spark plugs wires and electronics. Why? Because absolutely nothing has failed.. Ok I lied.. except a MAF sensor a ways back. If it ain't broke... You know.
I'm a mechanic I've owned a 71 Chevelle I restified and drove for 10 years.
Simultaneously I owned and worked on an 87 Buick Grand National that could get loose with a throttle blip at 60 mph. I'm lazy now and really only upgrade or modify as parts fail. I think the plastic radiator may have sprung a leak yesterday. That's why I joined . Not because I don't know what to do about a plastic radiator hole.. But because the time is here when working on this car
will undoubtedly come to the forefront more and more. I've been to this site many times but never joined.
Out of all the forums, g35 driver has no competition. Great site because you all generally work well together and have a bunch of great ideas. So I'm glad to be here.
