New 04 G35 Coupe

Hey everyone. Just bought a 2004 G35 coupe! 6MT, twilight blue, graphite interior. Love it so far. 131,000 miles. Stock except debadge. Picked it up from an aircraft mechanic. Needs parking brake adjustment and it has a clunk on the front passenger side, and after searching the forum I think is lower control arm bushings. Looking forward to many good years!

Not sure if that's a good price, but felt like a steal to me! Price was good. I hope he kept up with it.

The G has an exceptionally weak parking brake, do you need to adjust its throw or strength when pushed in?

Both I think. It's really easy to pull up, and only holds when it's at the absolute max. I saw a DIY thread that I'm going to tackle this weekend. Unfortunately I left my tools in my old car back at my parents, so it'll have to wait until Saturday.

NICE COUPE! Welcome to the club! I have a 05X sedan. I think the first gen Gs are the best! 2nd gens have more poines but the cockpit layout is better IMO. Plus the sound is better too! Enjoy your coupe and the road !!!!

I just got a silver 04 g35 coupe and had to adjust my parking brake. It's easy you just need to remove the little felt piece in the center console next to the parking brake and then you'll be able to access a small nut to tighten the brake cable. All you need is a ratchet with a deep well socket (10mm i think). I'm a new member too ill have pics of my G up soon
