Hi, I joined this forum back in November and just haven't had time to really check it out. I have owned 3 Nissan Maxima SEs. A '89, a '92, and a '97. all of them were 5-speed manuals. Well the '97 was getting a bit long in the tooth so I decided it was time to replace it. Sure it still ran great and was mostly reliable and comfortable even with 254,000 miles on the clock. I was looking for something newer than I ended up with but really don't like automatic transmissions. '06 was the last year you could get one in the Maxima. Having already fallen in love with the VQ engine I decided to look at G35s. I almost bought a '11 G37 but another financial emergency came up so I started looking for a bit older car. I really like my '06 G35 6MT. It drives more like the Maxima did than the newer Gs even if it is RWD, which I prefer anyway. It's a nice color combo with Twilight Blue and wheat.











I also own a 1980 Triumph TR8 and spend a lot of time on the forum for it. It has been a rolling refurbishment job ever since I first got it running. It has the original, but slightly modified, 3.5 liter aluminum V8 and 5-speed.




I'm also on a Ford truck forum for my "dump" truck. A '94 F150. It doesn't get driven much because it is a pain in the a__, literally. But it is nice to have when stuff needs to be moved from point A to point B. It is a 4.9 liter inline 6 with a 5-speed. I really don't like automatics.
