New project need tips on mods

I have an 05 red G35 so far with 18 by 10 rims carbon fiber diff, muffler delete. Can someone give me good tips on how i can improve my performance by buying the right mods(automatic btw). Also, i may buy springs because coils are an expensive options at the moment. What are the best springs that lower the most and help handling and balance

Okay first off. Get an aam transgo shift kit Then after that's done, buy a grounding kit from SxExCe a vendor here. Spelled his name wrong I know. After that save your money for coils, it's worth it. Find them used on here, or one of the Facebook pages Then get a Plenum Spacer Then after that, get some ART pipes

After that, get some nice classy wheels and spacers.
Finally go ahead and spend some real money on an exhaust. An HkS man.

Facebook G35 page gets it done for selling used parts for a good price. Look there to save some money. Only recommend the transgo if you don't like the way it currently shifts slow, but I don't care too much.

I'm on a year long internship, so I just learned finals ended today when I talked to a school friend lol. It's so nice out, what a great post exam break for those that were cooped up all winter.

Welcome to Driver CherryredG! Motordynes 5/16" plenum spacer will correct Nissans design error and give you a 6 to 8 WHP. The best exhaust for the least amount of $$ is Exotic Speed R1-T. Most of the restriction is in the OE cats, replacing them with high flow cats is your best option, that an automatic 15+ WHP! On Driver you're protected buying parts, on FaceBook you're taking a chance buying something fake or losing your $$ to a dishonest sombitch. Buy all your parts from our Marketplace where you're protected! Save your $$ for coil overs if you intend to go lower! Either way you need a complete camber kit if you intend to lower your coupe! Search "Lowering" there's been years of discussion over this subject. You either go with the camber kit or replace your tires every 8 to 10K miles which gets expensive! Again welcome to Driver...Gary

Thumbs up

First off go to the search engine and type in progression threads and see how others have modified their cars. If you want a set of springs that'll give you a good drop and still ride beautifully, check out Tanabe lowering springs. A plenum spacer is always a great performance mod, as for a good exhaust system. Check the classifieds to see if someone has something you're looking for (do that for every mod). This saves money. You don't need to spend an exuberant amount of money to get a tight ride, unless that's what you want to do. Patience goes along way when modding your car. Buy what you really want and enjoy it longer and save thousands in the process.

Welcome to the forum!

The best thing to do is to save your money and do it right the first time. It will cost more in the long if you don't.
