2006 g35

So I just bought a 2006 G35 with 46K miles on it for 13725$ (all stock). The car is great and I am loving it, but my dash is cracked and want to know if I have to go buy the dash and repair it or is there another way I could get it fixed. The cracking on the dash is getting worse as time goes on and it really bothers me.

The car is great!!<br/>

You've got to replace it :/. Nice color! Consider getting clear window tint on your front windshield to prevent future cracking and a cool summer cabin.

So the car is a automatic, and I do plan to get some mods nothing to heavy just an exhaust, headers, and K&N cold air intake. I also want to take the emblems off the trunk to get the nice clean simple look to the car. I am putting in red LED bulbs and yellow led strips (to light up the feet area). These are the only plans I have so far. The clean tint is something I have never thought of I shall look into that.

Fyi avoid intake replacements, they don't do anything, even going to a bigger tube.

Stick to OEM.

As for the LED kick stuff.... Please no your car is so nice. Look up clear corners, those are a great replacement for the ugly amber corners on the LR.

As far as I know the intake would provide more air flow to the engine, so why would you be advising against it? Also the LED lights are for personal preference I will see if I like them inside my cabin, If I don't I will take them out.

you need to research on here more regarding bolt on mods.
headers are not necessary (saw you mentioned it prior)

Ill get you started.
revup air box (from 05-07 6mt G's) paired with a drop in filter,
motodyne plenum spacer-with your automatic you WONT need the MREV2
an exhaust of your choice, and possibly, depending on where you live, HFC's or Motordyne ART pipes.
then osiris tune.

Aren't headers a real pain in theass to install?
There are a lot of intakes and exhausts for the G35. Just pick the one you think sounds best. Neither are going to do too much for performance. Just make it sound and look like YOU like. Lots of haters on here no matter which way you go. There are two members on this forum with billet grilles (FrankieG35 and SAYWAT) and even today their cars hurt peoples' feelings.

Jersey says the right info! I didnt see your location but I experienced heat soak in ohio.... I'd avoid the metal intakes and stick to Z tube and spacer... NO MREV2

Car looks great man, very clean. I hope you keep it that way.

I have the dash cracking issue as well; kinda bothers me a little but don't have the funds to replace it. I think the only real option is to buy the entire top dash from ebay or a junk yard and put it on yours.
