Thumbs up New G35 Owner

Hello everyone, my name is Collin and I recently bought a 2004 G35x! I always wanted one and found one for a great price. Picked it up with 69k miles for $7,000! Clean Carfax with regular maintenance and everything is in great shape.

Just have a few questions:

The temperature gauge goes right up to the middle within a minute or 2 of driving. Is that normal?

Is there any way to get a DTE reading without having the factory navigation system?

I have stock HID headlights and was wondering if I can buy the OEM halogen headlight replacements and just take out the halogen bulbs and put the HIDs in? I read on here that it's possible but was just trying to confirm.

Why would you change up the stock situation.

HIDs put in a halogen reflector produce glare for other drivers and put less light on the road to help you see.

Just leave it as is, yours are nice.

Nice purchase there. Car looks to be in good shape. Yes the temp gauge is normal. And urban is right. Leave the lights alone.
