New to the forum

Hello all!

I've owned my 07 G35 for a few years now and this forum has been great a great resource to help me through all the typical issues. Now I'm in need of some assistance.

Two years ago I did the $5 fix for the driver door lock actuator and it's still working great. A year ago the car would beep and the doors would unlock whenever I got in as if I just tried to lock the keys in the car. Being resourceful, I disassembled the lock actuator and found the lock indicator micro-switch had failed. I was actually able to solder the tiny internal plate and it worked great for another year. But now it's finally done.

So being new here, and not being able to post to the classifieds, I'm asking for help tracking down a used lock actuator.

I'm not the Internet type, but now that I'm finally here I'm looking forward to sharing and helping others here!

Thanks everyone for all the help so far!

Welcome to the G community. I am not even sure if the guy is still doing those actuators. He has moved on and has a career job by now.

Thanks for the welcome! I'm not looking for someone to rebuild it for me. I'm just hoping that someone who replaced theirs with a new one may still have the old one laying around so I could put two bad ones together to make a functional one. Instead of paying $300 for a new one.
