First Infiniti. First G35. Love it
Just got a G35 Sedan 3 weeks ago and love it. Quick, handles great, very tight suspension (keep in mind, coming from a Chevy Blazer), and looks amazing. Always loved the G series looks as soon as they came out.
Got it from the original owner who bought it brand new when it first came out. He put in a head unit, upgraded the speakers, and replaced the rims.
Kiddo loves the car. Has 160K miles, want to put on alot more.
Not as fast the Genesis we own, nor near of luxurious, but a fun car nonetheless.
Once it's paid off in a few months I'll be looking to add some minor mods. Nothing too drastic, just some more braking and handling most likely.

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods

First mod I'll suggest is a set of sway bars F/R. Best bang for the buck mod you can do, it'll completely change the handling/driving dynamics of the car. Welcome to the family!!
Same here, I'm new to owning a G but fell in love driving one years ago. Had nine for about 6 months now (03 g35 sedan) wanted the coupe but a family man and didn't wanna make ol'lady trip about the coupe so got the next best thing. Also checked out g35driver before my purchase and seen that it's alot of Diy On here so I feel comfortable about the furniture being a sum what wrench head and love fixing my own s'/$. Iv learned alot skimming thus talk and did the k&m drop filter and waiting on the time to install the walker coupe midpipe .... been 2 weeks since I got it and I'm frustrated cuz I wanna see the results but all In all iv been pleased. Only thing I've replaced in the time of owning it was the radiator. Easy fix if you have the patience. If you run into Purg issues HMU I had em and can talk you thru. Other than that great car and have fun
Purg issues?
My last car was a Blazer, so the handling, acceleration, and driving dynamics are already worlds better.
Wifey has a Genesis and it's even better than that...but it is a far lighter car and the Genesis is a top notch luxury car.
I had an Eclipse about 15 years ago which I modified extensively to the point of whole new suspension and braking systems and it was a really fun car to drive.

G life
Yah I had my eye on the genesis before I got the G looks like a sweet car and they came along way with the care that that take when putting it together. But I'm glad I made the choice for the g35 even tho its older but o'well. Like you I'm in the stage where I'm comfortable with the car and finally making small mods as time goes. Like I stated I invested in the K&m drop in air filter.. that sounds sweet when you give it gas and hear the air flow and slight whistle either driving or in park. At times it does feel a little bit more stronger with the k&n a a minimal tone difference when cruzing. Not much but a little better tone. Tomorrow I'm installing the legendary coupe midpipe and I'll give you a update on how that goes so you can get a straight honest opinion on if it's a good mod or not. Iv had mixed reviews here n there about how it is and just said he'll with I'll just do it and see. But I'll let you know how it goes. As for the purge issues, you'll only have them if you have to change anything dealing with antifreeze. I had a small Crack at the neck of my radiator (they are known for it) and had to change it. And a fyi... if you ever need any parts for the low with good quality look on Rockauto. There good with replacement parts
