Hey Guys | New Here
Hey Folks, I live in California, My Names Yeej, pronounced Yang. But that doesn't matter, I'm 21 years of age and have completely little knowledge of the vehicle I just bought but the good things I've heard from my buddies who own theres.
I just purchased a very well, very clean and maintained 2006 G35 automatic with a manual shifer.
I have had the car for about 2 weeks now, and I am absolutely enjoying it. The Reason for my purchase of the car was because 5 of my buddies in town already owns G35/G37's, and my brother who lives out of state. I decided while I was looking to purchase a car that the best bet for me was an Infiniti G35, not to bandwagon along with the crowd, but because since I am not a car person, at all. That if I ever came to troubles, I would had a good handful of buddies to assist me.
That being said, I just came about a problem earlier today with the vehicle and did some research on it, and came upon these forums. And decided it would be ideal for me to register and meet more G Owners and be easier for me to ask questions that have not been asked before, or just simply put. Get Assistance from you experts who have probably been owning your Infiniti for quite some time or just have great knowledge of the vehicle.
I'm new to this website here, but not knew at all to forums based websites. I know how to make my way around the forums. If there is anything I need to know on here please let me know, i'll be strolling through these forums a lot and hope to meet a bunch of you.

ps, my issue was putting too many coins into my ash tray (which I thought was for coins) and got some coins behind it now and my ashtray won't close anymore. AND my 06 stock low beams are wayyy too low, I can only see 1 car in front of me, if even. so that was how I googled my way to these forums.

Here is the link to the service manual.
I used to have an '05 Sedan X. It was lots of fun. It's an automatic though, don't lie to yourself.
It is very hard to upgrade HP on these cars, and I would recommend just sticking to stereos, led interior upgrades, etc.
Also - removal of the ash tray/shifter assembly is super simple. Find the "double din replacement guide" over in the tech forum stickies on how to get coins out of there. Just have to remove the shifter and pop up the shifter cover from the armrest.
Welcome Yeej.
