Nice G man. I also have a revup 6mt sedan with a borla true dual. How did you get the exhaust flange at the end to hold up. My borla has the exhaust flange facing opposite of the rubber mount where it should hang from.

Hanger not holding up

Just get the bracket and hanger for a 2003-2004 sedan. Most sedan kits are based off that design anyway.

The 05-06 used a diff hanger bracket design in the rear but an 03-04 sedan bracket fits perfectly. The bolt holes and spots are still there, just unbolt old hanger bracket and bolt new bracket and hanger. Easy as that. I just got mine from a junkyard for $5 with the bolts and rubber bushing still attached.

Here is a link for the bracket portion as reference:

Here is the hanger bushing, you will only need one bc the Borla has only one hanger rod on the canister:

Very sturdy and OEM. Can't beat that.

...also

...I forgot to clarify, the Borla true dual IS designed for the 03-04 sedans even though they clearly say it's a bolt on kit for 03-06 sedans. That is why the bracket from the older sedans (03-04) fixes the issue. However, the only difference between the 03-04 and the 05-06 exhaust fitment is the bracket in the rear, other than that everything else is identical.

I originally ran into this issue when I got my first exhaust kit, the Magnaflow catback. Basically, with the exception of a very few manufacturers, all sedan catback systems utilize the 03-04 bracket setup. Some companies like Megan racing have both style brackets on the canister.

Wow. Thanks man I really appreciate it. I've had this problem since I put the catback on. I would always just kick it back up. I then made a little make shift bracket but it squeaked and rattles so bad. Thanks again man. I appreciate it.
