Hi everyone ! Questions about my new G35
Hello everyone
My girlfriend finally bought a g35 coupe and we are both very happy with the purchase. Its a 06 automatic with 160000km on it. Looks very clean but It needs minor repair. One of the rear wheel needs a new bearing, rusty transmission plate and the vdc seems to be always off..Vdc off concern me a little bit because I own a g37x coupe automatic and vdc saved me a fiew times in heavy rain. I am also not experience with Rwd and tires do spins when flooring in first gear. I replaced the rear tires with new Falken fk453. I drove about 600km with them and they still spin when flooring first gear. How this car handle in winter on ice or heavy snow? I live in Quebec so this is the reason why I will drive her g35 in winter while she drives mine. But is it a safe car specially if my vdc isnt working?
Thanks in advance !

You will need winter tires, most likely, for Quebec winters. Summer tires will spin like crazy.
The wheel bearing isn't impossible to change, it just requires a lot of work to get to it. Consider replacing bad bushings while in there too!
VDC off is probably there because of a broken wheel speed sensor. Inspect the wires for the four wheels, especially the one with the bad bearing.

Only logical answer would be to take her coupe to Nissan and find out why the VDC isn't staying on! What are you two going to do about winter tires, aren't those needed/required in your neck of the woods?

I think his concern is why the VDC isn't cutting throttle properly.
