New proud 04 6mt coupe owner

This is my new car toy/daily driver 04 g35 coupe 6mt
Im so glad i chose that car over the new edge mustang.
Its stylish, comfy and quick, i just wish it wouldnt have electrical issues lol. But i still love it
The car has a rich history of being stolen (first time see stolen manual car lol), and purchased by me from auction
Im planning to mod it with plenum spacer, just installed CAI, and obviously put some new wheels when i will have cash. The car has a full led conversion, front lip and some plastidip on rims
Im glad to be here!
PS. Just swaped out a clutch as well

PS: Yes im russian thats why i have a flag instead of front plate (to cover the hole from tow hook cover) In PA we dont need to have a front license plate

Welcome and congrats on your new car. Take care of it and it should take care of you. Did it come with electrical issues? I haven't seen or heard of any particular trend on electrical problems here.
Also cai on these cars do more harm than good. Nissan designed the stock intake quite well. If you do plan on doing any performance mods, get your car on the dyno before so you can see that it actually gave you more hp so you don't go throwing parts at it for nothing. The plenum spacer is a known mod to help. Don't be a stranger on here as the site isnt as active as it used to be but everyone is still extrememly helpful

Yeah, i put cai for the sound mostly when you shift it makes a nice whistle.
Im a student and i cant afford the dyno yet
Those cars are known to have issues with door actuators (both of mine are broken) and window motors(mine are fine)

I'm in the same boat here. I have owned my car long enough to see that the car has become a lot more affordable to the younger crowd. That's what lead me to start doing my own work on my car. Being strapped for cash and being paranoid that it's done right. I trust my mechanic but I'm the type of guy that likes every nut & bolt torqued to spec. Check out nicoclub for the factory service manual if you haven't already

Best anti-theft for a G35 is a Quick-Release or not buying one at all. LOL
