New to the forum looking at buying a g35

How's it going guys? I used to own an 05 g35 coupe with a handful of bolt on mods. I sold it a bout a year ago because I bought a house and thought I should be more practical and got a truck. Big mistake. So I'm look at getting another g. This time id like to do it right and build it more. I found a 05 g35 coupe the ad says it needs a new engine. I haven't gotten a response yet to find out exactly what's wrong with it. Worse case it needs a new motor does anyone know about how much I'm look at for that? I haven't gotten to dig too deep into the sight yet so if anyone can point me towards a related thread I'd appreciate it. Thanks

Coupe 6MT Premium RAS
Call around to wrecking yards, it's probably $2500 used or ~$3500 new. Make sure there is a motor in the engine bay when you buy it though, it's a nightmare trying to put one in if you aren't familliar with taking it out first, and all those missing nuts/bolts... ughh...

If you're interested in a sedan, I've got an awesome one for sale. I'm thinking about putting up on this site because I'm not getting too many hits on it from craigslist. I'm in Colorado and I really think the RWD scares people in winter.

Welcome to the G35 Driver Forums!

Matthew, why not find a well taken care of coupe with low miles? There must be a few still left that owners have babied since new! Initial cost may be more but it would last for years with nothing more than normal maintenance I have one just like that, she's not for sale!
