Hi. My mom, who will be 70 in a few months, has a 2004 G35X with Aero kit and around 107K miles on the clock (pics included - windows were tinted recently). I helped her find it last year after her 2002 Altima 3.5SE was totaled by a negligent driver. We looked at several car makes and models, and the G35 offered the best balance of performance, reliability, and amenities in her price range.

I'm usually the one who maintains her cars (did a TON of work on her Altima), so I've browsed the forum for about a year. I figured I'd register so I can ask questions and possibly assist others.

Looking clean man, you should probably change your fluids if you havent already. Brakes/Coolant/Trans/etc.

 

The previous owner provided receipts for about $4K in work to replace the steering rack, some worn out suspension components, and tires. Fluids were just done prior to the sale last year, so I'll tackle them again next summer. Infiniti dealer looked over the car when my mom took it to them to have a key made, and the only issue they found was the windshield wiper fluid was low - lol.

 

Super clean for an '04, with lots of life left. Good hunting on her behalf!

Now get her some clear corners, a spacer, HFCs and an exhaust, a tune, and she'll be ready to take on the world!

 

The G35 gets a lot of looks from kids because of the Aero kit. It has a couple exterior issues, including a recently damaged rear bumper cover that we're addressing now and a small scuff on the front cover.

My mom has a bit of a lead foot, so I'm not going to give her any upgrade ideas. 😀
