Hello, my name is Dimitri this is my second Infiniti, 80k on it 6mt coupe 2005, very nice with some suspension mods put on by the previous owner coils, tie rods etc but a stock engine down to the intake. My last g35 was totaled out in a triple role over accident, but with that money I was able to get this so no harm. My first 2 weeks in buying this one the right rear brake caliper seized and destroyed my rotors and a week after that my stock clutch took a **** on itself and blew up during a pull and my pressure plate and flywheel where broken in pieces laying on the bottom of the tranny bell housing. Buying from a dealer though I did get the warranty and they paid in full for the brakes and labor on the clutch because I decided to not get an OEM clutch and went with the JWT clutch combo. Couple problems so far my dash has a horrible crack going across it, I have the 1st -2nd grinding problem and a noticeable whistle above 60mph coming from the frame-less doors. Other than that I love this car and plan on riding out another 100-150k miles on this car.

Whistle is probably just the old window seal, mine whistles a little bit when it's really cold outside until cabin temp rises.
Grinding issue is likely just worn synchro's, get the tranny fluid swapped, won't help with the grinding but it will get contaminated fluid out of the transmission.
