New guy here, I recently purchased an 05 G35 Coupe. Already love it, trying to work out all its needs and wants after parting from its not so knowledgeable previous owner. I'll be looking through this forum for all my questions and concerns regarding the G.

Congrats man, got my first g35 coupe about 2 months ago, had to replace valve cover gaskets, re wired the hid's cause its lowered and previous owner didnt secure wire from hitting tire, re solder the 3 common loose resistors on finisher bored to get ac and radio contorls working again, deleted idler pulley. But you'll love the car its not a pain to work on its actaully enjoyable. 03 coupe murdered out "i blacked out EVERYTHING from enkei 18s to the grill, new black tail lights and black head lights" 110 thousand miles.

 

What's up guys, haven't gotten to get some pictures uploaded yet. But they're on the way hopefully soon. First things I've done since I got the G.

1. Scrapped off vinyl stickers from previous owner and removed faded taillight tint.
​​​​2. Ran Fuel System Cleaner that cleared CEL code.
3. Replaced eBay HID bulbs (one was burnt out) with Morimoto bulbs.
​​​​​4. Detailed interior and installed my daughter's Recaro car seat.
5. Installed Z1 Plenum Spacer.
6. Replaced worn out shift boot with In.Focus boot.

Next on the list is an oil change, (Pennzoil 10w30, Nismo Filter, Greddy Magnetic Plug). Diff fluid change, (Valvoline 80w90)

Current mileage is 86k with unknown maintenance by previous owners.
