Does anyone know how to manually recline a passenger seat?
The motor apparently quit working and I am attempting to get the passenger seat in a comfortable position.

Remove the motor, turn the worm drive gear. Usually you can use a socket or wrench to turn it quicker.

Reclining Motor

For the life of me, I can not locate the reclining motor.
It’s the passenger seat of a coupe. I’ve pulled the seat out of the car. I’ve read numerous articles, most of which are suggesting reversing polarity to the motor to attempt reclining the seat, basically bypassing the switch, which would tell me if the switch is bad.
The switch has 3 wires, I am assuming they’re just normally open dry contacts, and would close when activated, causing voltage to flow to the reclining motor. At this point I think the easiest thing to do would be to meter the contacts and figure out if the contacts are actually working.
Pulling the motor out and manually turning the gear would be great but there appear to be related springs that I have a bad feeling that they will simply explode when I unbolt.
Thanks for any support

Check the FSM, SE - Seats on page 85 for component locations.
